Procedures & Protocols are well established, regulated by Federal Drug Administration & National Institutes of Health
Enrollment is now open for three clinical studies being conducted by Dr. Marco Barusco with Tempus Hair Restoration at their Port Orange surgical center. Tempus Hair Restoration is one of five centers globally participating in these studies which are being done under the supervision of Institutional Review Boards and in accordance with the stipulations of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). We are looking to recruit patients for the following:
Study 1: “FUE vs. FUT Hair Graft Growth Comparison”
Candidate requirements:
1- Men, age 18 and older. Healthy. No previous transplants.
2- Must have a completely bald area (crown or mid-scalp) for the study grafts.
Study 2: Stem Cells Study for Male and Female Pattern (genetic) Hair Loss
Candidate requirements:
1- Men and women, age 18 and older. Healthy. No previous transplants.
Study 3: Stem Cells Study for Alopecia Areata and Scarring Hair Loss
Candidate requirements:
1- Men and women, age 18 and older. Biopsy-proven diagnosis of Alopecia Areata and/or Cicatricial Alopecia. No previous transplants.
It is important to note that patients will receive a 10% reimbursement for participation in these studies after all data is collected and the study is complete. Patient’s names will not be published. The only difference between this study and a routine procedure is that the data collected will be used for statistical validation in medical journals and published teachings by Dr. Barusco.
